3 sailors rescued at sea after ship breakdown

Muscat: The Royal Air Force of Oman carried out a medical evacuation for three sailors whose boat broke down at sea, and they were transferred to Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah.

“Today, one of the helicopters of the Royal Air Force of Oman carried out a medical evacuation at sea for a crew of three sailors whose commercial boat broke down at a point fourteen nautical miles from the port of Salalah. The chopper transported them to Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah in Dhofar Governorate to receive the necessary treatment,” Ministry of Defence said in a statement.
