Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and President Abdul Fattah el Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt held a bilateral meeting at the Al Alam Palace on Tuesday morning.
The two leaders reviewed the historical relations binding the two countries and means of promoting them towards broader horizons in a manner that serves joint interests and realizes aspirations of the two countries’ peoples.
The meeting was attended from the Omani side by Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu'mani, Minister of the Royal Office, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance (Head of the Mission of Honour), Sayyid Dr. Sultan bin Yarub Al Busaidi, Advisor at the Private Office and Abdullah bin Nassir Al Rahbi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Arab Republic of Egypt and its Permanent Delegate to the Arab League.
Meanwhile, it was attended from the Egyptian side by Sameh Shoukry, Foreign Minister, Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Major General Abbas Kamel, Chief of the Intelligence Service, Khalid Radi, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Sultanate of Oman and Ambassador Bassam Radi, Spokesman of the Presidency.
