Citizen injured in hiking incident rescued by CDAA

Muscat: The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) managed to rescue a citizen who was injured in a mountain in the Wilayat of Nakhal.

The CDAA said in a statement: “Rescue teams of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in the Governorate of South Al Batinah dealt with a report that a citizen was injured on a mountain in the Wilayat of Nakhal. The teams were able to rescue him and provide him with emergency medical care. He is in good health.”

The authority calls on mountain hikers to take the necessary precautions before going to places with mountainous terrain, in order to avoid dangers.
