Cabinet, State Council office hold joint meeting

Muscat: A joint meeting was held between the Cabinet and the State Council Office for continuous coordination between all state institutions in order to reach a common vision that serves the development path of the Sultanate.

The Oman News Agency (ONA) said: "The Council of Ministers and the Office of the State Council are holding a joint meeting within the framework of what is stipulated in the Basic Law of the State and the Law of the Council of Oman in order to continuously coordinate between all state institutions in order to reach common visions that help in upgrading the comprehensive development paths witnessed by the Sultanate of Oman.”

His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, stressed during the meeting the importance of the role played by the State Council, in cooperation with the Council of Ministers, in carrying out its responsibilities of implementing the state's general policies and ensuring the best services are provided to citizens.

The meeting reviewed several topics, including supporting integration between state institutions to serve the public interest, and the State Council's contribution to studies and proposals that help support the government's efforts in implementing development plans and programs and advancing the national work process.
