New Ministers appointed in Oman
His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has issued a royal decree reconstructing the Council of Ministers, Oman TV said in a statement.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik issued a royal decree appointing Engineer Salim Al Awfi as Minister of Energy and Minerals, Dr. Mohammed Al Maamari as Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, and Dr. Hilal Al Sabti as Minister of Health.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has issued more new royal decrees, which are as follows:

Royal Decree regulating the administration of judicial affairs.

Royal Decree issuing the governorates' system

Royal Decree defining the functions of the Ministry of Interior and approving its organisational structure.

Royal Decree transferring the jurisdiction of inventory and valuation of property from the Ministry of Interior to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning.

Royal Decree appointing Sayyid Muhammad bin Sultan bin Hamoud Al Busaidi as Vice President of the Supreme Judicial Council, with the same rank and financial allocations.

Royal decree appointing governors.

Royal Decree amending some provisions of the Municipal Councils Law.

Royal Decree appointing Sheikh Ghsn bin Hilal bin Khalifa Al Alwi as Head of the State’s Financial and Administrative Audit Institution (SAI) at the rank of Minister.

Royal Decree appointing Issa bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Azri Secretary-General of the Supreme Judicial Council.

Royal Decree transferring Talal bin Sulaiman  Al Rahbi to the Ministry of Foreign  with the same rank and financial allocations.

Royal Decree appointing Pankaj Khimji as an advisor for foreign trade and international cooperation at the Ministry of Commerce , Industry and Investment Promotion.
