Efforts to find missing citizens continue in Oman

Muscat: For the sixth day in a row, efforts continue to search for the missing citizens at sea in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate.

The Royal Oman Police said: "Continuous efforts are being made to search for the missing citizens at sea off the coast of the Al-Ashkharah area by the police aviation and the Coast Guard police boats, with the participation of the Royal Air Force of Oman, the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority and a group of citizens."

The Coast Guard Police Command in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate received a report last Thursday about the loss of two young men at sea after they left at dawn on Thursday in a fishing boat.

The Royal Oman Police advises citizens to take the necessary precautions before going out, and to inform people of the area they are heading to, to go out for fishing in groups and to always communicate.
