Muscat: The Royal Navy of Oman ship (Shabab Oman II) has reached the West Indian Docks port in the United Kingdom, as part of its international voyage for this year to the European continent, entitled (Oman, the Land of Peace).

The Ministry of Defence said: "His Excellency Sheikh Abdul Aziz Abdullah Al Hinai, the Sultanate of Oman's ambassador to the United Kingdom, was at the forefront of receiving the ship open its arrival in the port and in the presence of Brigadier General Ahmed Ibrahim Ambosaidi, the military attaché at the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in London, and Rear Admiral "Bill Field" commander of the region London and the East of England Naval."

His Excellency the Ambassador said: “This trip carries lofty national goals and contents, expressing his hope that the ship will achieve its noble goals.” His Excellency and the audience listened to a briefing from the ship's captain about the itinerary and its program during its next stations.

It is worth mention that the second ship Shabab Oman will dock in West Indian Docks port in the United Kingdom in the port for five days to allow the public to learn more about its mission in extending friendship and brotherhood bonds between the Sultanate of Oman and various countries of the world and introducing the authentic Omani culture at its various international stations, in addition to viewing the photo gallery on board that highlights the most important the historical, cultural and developmental landmarks of the Sultanate.
