One arrested for posting offensive video on social media

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police, (ROP), has arrested a citizen for violating the Law on Combating Information Technology Crimes.

The ROP said in a statement: “The General Department of Inquiries and Criminal Investigation arrested a citizen for violating the Law on Combating Information Technology Crimes, after he published a video clip on social media showing him uttering words that violate public morals, and legal procedures are being completed against him.”
