Nesto picks Biobag contest winners

Muscat: The winners of the first round of the Nesto Biobag Contest have been announced. The Bio-Bag is a competition launched by Nesto on the occasion of World Earth Day to reduce the increasing consumption of plastics.

Those who bought OMR5 or more from Nesto hypermarkets and carried it in their carry bag had the opportunity to participate in the competition.

The winners of the first phase of the project were announced by Younus Al Hashmi (Head of Inspection - Ministry of Commerce) at the ceremony held at Nesto Mabelah Branch. Nesto also hosted some special events to mark World Environment Day.
