Kuala Lumpur: Said bin Saleh Al Kiyoumi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), won the Jewels of the Islamic World Award. It is issued by the International Business Centre of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Malaysia, which focuses on the contribution of individuals and highlighting their effective roles in the growth of the economies of countries in the Islamic world.
The ceremony was held annually by the Centre to honour active individuals and highlight their roles in the growth of the economies of countries in the Islamic world.
Said bin Saleh Al Kiyoumi thanked the International Business Centre for this award, which is an incentive to continue serving the public interest and the growth of the private sector in the Sultanate.
He said that the achievements and work done by all, including members of the Board of Directors of OCCI and the executive and all businessmen in the service of the private sector to increase its contribution to the GDP.
