Muscat: Indian School Al Ghubra honoured the teachers of the school for their dedication towards their profession at an event held on September 17th, 2017.
After breakfast, the members of the staff assembled in the auditorium, followed by a welcome speech by Principal Papri Ghosh.
The staff members were introduced through a medley of songs, the lyrics of which bore clues about their names. A game named Selfie Khichdi was also devised with the audience having to recognise people in distorted pictures.
There were also solo, group songs and dance performances by staff members,with spot prizes announced.
A group dance with teachers wearing the pictures of senior teachers of ISG as face masks and another dance which had the surprise appearance of the vice principal G. Sreekumar on a bicycle had the audience in splits of laughter.
The final dance was a skillfully choreographed visual treat, which was followed by a Lucky Draw in which three members of the staff won prizes.
The event came to an end with a sumptuous lunch. The members of the staff were grateful to the School Management for organising a memorable day of fun and camaraderie.
