Thunderstorms predicted in parts of Oman

Muscat: The Al Hajar Mountains may witness thunderstorms associated with downward winds on Thursday, said Oman Meteorology.

"Chances for cumulus clouds activity and scattered rain, sometimes thunderstorms, accompanied by active downward winds continue over parts of the Al Hajar Mountains during the afternoon and evening," Oman Meteorology said in a statement.
