Scattered rainfall predicted for some parts of Oman

Muscat: Scattered thundershowers have been forecast over some wilayats of South Al Batinah and Al Dhahirah, alongwith the formation of clouds over the Al Hajar Mountains.

A statement said, "The aerial picture shows convective clouds along the areas of the Al Hajar Mountains, with scattered thundershowers and rain in some wilayats of South Al Batinah and Al Dhahirah, and thickening of clouds over the desert areas of the governorates of Al Dakhiliyah, Al Dhahirah and Al Wusta."
