Earthquake monitored in Southern Iran

Muscat: An earthquake has been monitored in Southern Iran on Wednesday, the Earthquake Monitoring Centre (EMC) at Sultan Qaboos University said.

EMC said in a statement that an earthquake in Southern Iran with a magnitude of 4.4 was recorded at 11.34 am MCT and at a depth of 10 km. The earthquake was recorded 233 km away from Khasab.
