Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of greetings to Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Head of the Commonwealth, on the 70th anniversary of her accession to the throne.
His Majesty the Sultan expressed his best sentiments to the monarch, wishing her good health, happiness and success in leading the British people towards wider horizons of progress and prosperity. His Majesty the Sultan hoped that the strong ties of friendship between the two countries will continue to grow and prosper.
