Additional rebate for electricity consumers announced in Oman

Muscat: Electricity consumers with two accounts or less in the residential category, will be supported with a 15 per cent discount as additional support to reduce consumption costs.

Oman News Agency (ONA) announced that the decision was taken in the Council of Ministers meeting headed by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Tuesday.

Additionally, the disbursement of job security benefit has been extended till December 2022.

His Majesty also directed the preparation of an integrated implementation plan to develop the vocational education and training sector, complete the preparation of the technical education track within the outputs of general education and harmonise the outputs of general education (technical path) with vocational education and training programs.
