Over 600 to benefit from 'One Million Working Hours' initiative

Muscat: Over 600 people with various educational qualifications will benefit from the One Million Working Hours initiative, according to the Ministry of Labour.

The Oman News Agency said: "The Ministry of Labour announces the availability of 309,778 working hours in the part-time system, through which 644 people with various educational qualifications will benefit as part of the One Million Working Hours initiative."

The initiative seeks to provide a total of one million hours of part-time work in government institutions in the various governorates of the Sultanate and is due to the interest of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik in youth employment, where His Majesty issued directives to launch a set of employment initiatives on May 25, 2021.
