Sultanate condemns terrorist attack in Sri Lanka

Muscat: The Sultanate has condemned the terrorist attack in Sri Lanka that has left hundreds dead and injured and stressed on the fact that all Omanis are safe.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in statement: "The Sultanate strongly condemns the terrorist attacks that took place today in Colombo and other cities in Sri Lanka, targeting several churches and hotels that claimed hundreds of innocent lives and hundreds injured."
The statement confirmed the Sultanate rejecting of these criminal acts against the innocent at all times and places.

The ministry added: "In a telephone call from the Sultanate's embassy in Colombo, Sri Lanka, the embassy confirmed the safety of Omani citizens visiting the Republic of Sri Lanka.
