Milano by Danube continues to flourish in Oman

Muscat: Since its inception over a decade ago, Milano, which is owned by the Danube Group and principally known for the finest bath and home solutions, has become a household name in Oman. Milano began with sanitaryware and has now evolved to include tiles, hardware, electrical, water purifiers, water heaters, and professional tools.

Not only did Milano swiftly recover but also recorded a growth of over 20 per cent, a year after the pandemic that changed the world’s dynamics. Among all other segments, the company’s primary product line, sanitaryware, has performed well.

Anis Sajan, Vice Chairman of the Danube Group, stated, “Despite the pandemic, Milano expanded by 20% over 2021, thanks to our strong trader network and an assortment of high-quality products.” “We had an advantage over our competition since we maintained our inventory levels despite rising raw material prices,” Sajan, who was recently in Oman, quoted. While the strong network of traders caters to the B2B segment, the retail buyers can visit their nearest Danube Home showroom located Al Khuwair, Mabella, Barka, Sohar, Nizwa, Sur, Salalah for their home solutions needs.

Sajan gave an insight into strategies adopted that led to the growth of Milano.

“Our primary goal is to meet and exceed demands of our consumers, and in order to do so, we make sure to grow our product lines with the necessary items, making Milano a one-stop shop for all home renovation solutions.” A diverse set of professional tools has recently been introduced to the brand’s repertoire.

Milano has become a household name in Oman’s urban and suburban areas, not only for sanitaryware but also for doors, electrical, and hardware items, thanks to its wide range of high-quality and affordable products. The brand is reaching out to traders from the interiors, such as Ibri, Ibra Duqm, Nizwa, Sinaw, Al Ashkhara, Izki, Jalan Bu Ali, Al Kamil, Sur, Quriyat, Shinas, Wadijizi, and Liwa.

Milano intends to attain greater growth in 2022 as part of its brand strategy. In addition, the company has increased its research and development activities in order to launch new line of products in the future to serve multiple markets throughout the world.
