Sailor with broken foot onboard Indian ship rescued in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Air Force of Oman carried out a rescue operation for a sailor who had a broken foot and was on board an Indian ship and transferred him from the ship to Sultan Qaboos Hospital.

Ministry of Defence said: “Today, one of the helicopters of the Royal Air Force of Oman carried out a rescue operation for a sailor who had a broken foot on board an Indian ship 40 miles from the port of Raysut. He was rescued and transferred from the ship to Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah to receive the necessary specialised treatment.”
