Teenage pilot to land in Oman amid record setting flight attempt

Muscat: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has approved the arrival of the flight of the world's youngest pilot at Muscat International Airport on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.

"The Civil Aviation Authority issued its approval for the arrival of the flight of the youngest pilot in the world, 16-year-old Mac Rutherford, in his specially-made plane. He is expected to arrive at Muscat International Airport on May 31, 2022 as part of his tour to break the record as the youngest pilot to fly solo around the world," CAA said in a statement.
