Iranian President meets Sayyid Fahd, businessmen and other ofificals

Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs meets His Excellency President Dr. Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Oman News Agency, ONA, said: “His Excellency President Dr. Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, discusses during his meeting with His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs, hosted by Al Alam Palace, aspects of the existing cooperation between the two countries in various fields and matters of common interest.”

The Iranian President also met a number of Omani businessmen and their Iranian counterparts.

ONA said in a statement: “The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, today, hosted a number of Omani businessmen and their Iranian counterparts at Al Alam Palace in Muscat, with the aim of developing trade and investment relations between the two friendly countries, as part of the current visit of His Excellency to the Sultanate of Oman.”

The President met at the Iranian embassy in Muscat the Iranian community residing in the Sultanate of Oman within the framework of his official visit to the Sultanate.

Also on Monday, His Excellency Sayyid Badr Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign met the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, at Al Alam Palace.

The Foreign Ministry said: “His Excellency Sayyid Badr Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign, met with His Excellency Dr. Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, at the Al Alam Palace.”
