Fire breaks out in South Al Sharqiyah

Muscat: The firefighting teams managed to put out a fire that broke out in a number of palm trees and agricultural waste in the Wilayat of Jalan Bani Bu Ali.

Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority said: “The firefighting teams of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate dealt with a fire that broke out in a number of palm trees and agricultural waste in the Wilayat of Jalan Bani Bu Ali, where the teams were able to control the fire, without recording injuries.”

The authority calls on farmers to dispose of agricultural waste in safe ways and not to accumulate it in order to avoid risks.
