Large quantities of drugs seized in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has seized 92 kilograms of crystal drug and 20 kilograms of morphine found from two smugglers in North Al Batinah Governorate.

A statement issued online by ROP said: "The Department for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, led by the North Al Batinah Governorate Police, has arrested two expatriates on charges of smuggling and possessing narcotic substances with the intention of trafficking. ROP seized 92 kilograms of crystal and 20 kilograms of morphine. The legal  procedures are being completed against them."
