Japan offers scholarships for Omani students

Muscat: The Japanese government has offered a number of scholarships for Omani students who wish to complete their studies.

"The Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, represented by the Directorate General of Scholarships, is pleased to announce the availability of a number of scholarships provided by the Japanese government to Omani research students in the field of postgraduate studies for the year 2023," the Ministry said in a statement.

The deadline for registration is June 4, 2022.

Those who find themselves wanting to compete for these scholarships must submit the application forms and the necessary documents to the Embassy of Japan in the Sultanate of Oman. When registering at a Japanese university, please make sure that that university is one of the universities recommended for study by the Ministry of Higher Education,  Research and Innovation and listed on the ministry’s website: www.moheri.gov.om

This is required by the Omani side not by Japan.
