Drug smugglers arrested in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has arrested a drug smuggling gang consisting of four people, from Muscat Governorate.

"The Directorate General for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, in cooperation with the Coast Guard Police, has arrested a drug smuggling gang consisting of four accused, including three illegal entrants and a resident of Asian nationality, at a beach in the Governorate of Muscat. More than 60 kilograms of hashish and a quantity of morphine and crystal drugs were seized from their possession. The legal procedures are being completed against the accused," ROP said in a statement.
