Two arrested for killing a deer in Oman

Quriyat: Two persons were arrested for running over a deer at Ras Al Shajar Natural Sanctuary in the wilayat of Quriyat .
Wild life inspectors at the environment preservation office at the Diwan of Royal Court in cooperation with the personnel of Royal Oman Police and wildlife supervisors at the Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs and citizens managed to arrest two persons for breaching the wildlife regulations at Ras Al Shajar Natural Sanctuary in the wilayat of Quriyat .
The accused drove into the sanctuary and ran over a deer.
All the violators were arrested and kept under the police custody for investigations and for taking legal action for violating the Royal Decree on the Preservation of Natural Sanctuaries and Natural Life.
