Flexible working system to start from this date in Oman

Muscat: The Ministry of Labour announced the implementation of  the flexible working system starting from Sunday.

The ministry said in a statement: “In implementation of the supreme directives to implement the flexible working system in all units of the state’s administrative apparatus that apply the civil service law and its executive regulations, and in order to organize the times of attendance and departure of employees from their workplaces with flexibility and ease, the Ministry of Labour decides to operate the flexible working system starting from Sunday next, where employees commit to work for 7 consecutive hours per day, calculated according to the employee’s attendance and departure time between 7:30 am and 4:30 pm.
