Quarantine, food safety unit to be set up at this port in Oman

Muscat: A ministerial decision has been issued to create a quarantine and food safety department at the Empty Quarter port.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries Wealth and Water Resources issued a ministerial decision requiring: “The establishment of a quarantine and food safety department at the Empty Quarter port, affiliated with the General Directorate of Agricultural Wealth and Water Resources in Al Dhahirah Governorate.”
