Environment Authority removes mesquite trees in Dhofar

Muscat: The Environment Authority has carried out a campaign to remove harmful mesquite trees from Khors nature reserves in Dhofar Governorate.

"The Environment Authority, in cooperation with the Port of Salalah, continues the campaign to remove mesquite trees (marine ghaf) from the Khors natural reserves in the Dhofar Governorate, because of their damage to the environment, as they are removed and disposed of in ways that limit their spread," Environment Authority said in a statement.
