Muscat: Thunderstorms accompanied by downward winds and hail are expected over parts of the Sultanate of Oman on Thursday, April 28, 2022.
"The appearance of cumulus clouds with thunderstorms accompanied by active to very fast downward winds and the possibility of hail falling over the Al Hajar Mountains areas, extending to the coastal areas of the Sea of Oman, where it is concentrated on the governorates North and South Al Batinah, Al Buraimi, Al Dhahirah and parts of Al Dakhiliyah during the afternoon to the night, " the Meteorology said in a statement.
Oman Meteorology has warned of the possibility of flying unstable objects and low horizontal visibility during thunderstorms and the flow of valleys.
