Former Pakistani cricket keeper Zulqarnain Haider visited Al Hail Cricket club ground during the Pran Frooto Ramadan Cricket Tournament. He was chief guest for the quarterfinal matches.
According to Al Hail School of Cricket official Waleed Al Balushi, the former star was very impressed with the facilities at the ground, happy to see such an event being conducted during the holy month of Ramadan to encourage Tennex ball tournament in the country.
During the visit, Al Hail School of Cricket officials and Zulqarnain Haider had fruitful discussions and talked about possible tie-ups with Al hail School of Cricket academy's future development programmes and coaching.
He said that they plan for a summer camp during of month of May.
Waleed Al Balushi said, "Zulqarnain Haider was quite impressed with our facilities, especially the grass ground, net facilities and academy building which also comprises a dedicated conference hall."
Waleed Al Balushi said, "He has been appointed as the Head Coach for the academy for summer camp as new coach to run the academy. He played international matches for Pakistan Team, U-15 World Cup in 2000, USA premier league from 2016 to 2019 and played first class league in Pakistan. With his experience, we are sure to get a lot of benefit for our academy."
