People urged to donate platelets in Oman

Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS) has made an urgent appeal to people to donate platelets today at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar.

"Due to the high demand for platelets, we urge citizens and residents to donate platelets as soon as possible at the Central Blood Bank in Bausher, as there are many disease cases that require platelets today. Non-fasting can donate blood in the morning," DBBS said in a statement.
