Police seizes over 60 kilograms of crystal drug in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has seized more than 60 kilograms of crystal drug  found from three smugglers.

"The Directorate General for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, led by the Police of South Al Batinah Governorate, in cooperation with the Coast Guard Police, managed to arrest three people of Asian nationalities on charges of smuggling narcotics by sea with the intention of trafficking them in partnership with an international gang. Five containers containing 63 kilograms of crystal drug were seized from their possession. The legal procedures are being completed against them," ROP said in a statement.
