Muscat: The Zubair Corporation signed two agreements with SAP and KAAR software companies as part of the Corporation’s Digital Transformation Project.
One of the most important projects launched by the corporation, the purpose of this project is to develop and enhance work systems and to ensure it is on par with the highest international standards.
The two agreements were signed on behalf of the Corporation by Abdullah Zahran Al Balushi, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Directors, and on behalf of ‘SAP’ and ‘KAAR’ by Sergio Maccotta, SVP and GM - Middle East South, SAP MENA and Guardian George, Co-founder and Director of KAAR Technologies respectively.
The agreements were signed in the presence of Al Zubair Muhammad Al Zubair, Vice Chairman of The Zubair Corporation, and a number of the senior management from the Corporation and the two companies.
Commenting on the signing of the agreement, Al Zubair Muhammad Al Zubair said, “The Zubair Digital Transformation Project is one of the most important projects that the Corporation is currently working on. Through this agreement, we seek to develop an integrated electronic system that deals with all the operations of The Zubair Corporation and the group's subsidiaries. The next phase will focus on designing and developing the system for daily operations, which will contribute to increasing the efficiency of employees in performing their tasks, developing their workflow and their productivity, which in turn will positively reflect on the performance of companies and enhance their competitiveness in the market. These are vital aspects that affect employees within the organisation and company affiliates, as well as their relationships with their clients outside the organisation.”
He added, “I am confident that the digital transformation agreements will contribute to the broadening of the organisation’s horizons with regards to its technical progress. This in turn will help improve the performance of the organization and its subsidiaries.
