Thunderstorms expected in parts of Oman

Muscat: Parts of the Sultanate of Oman will witness thunderstorms accompanied by active downward winds today.

Oman Meteorology said: "There is cloud formation over parts of the governorates of South Al Batinah, Al Dakhiliyah, and Muscat, with the possibility of their expansion in the coming time, and rainfall will sometimes be thunderous, accompanied by active downward winds."
