Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, inaugurated on Thursday, the Sultanate of Oman's National Pavilion at the 59th Venice International Biennale of Arts in Italy.
Oman News Agency (ONA), said: “His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, inaugurates the National Pavilion of the Sultanate of Oman at the Venice International Biennale of Arts in Italy, in its fifty-ninth session, one of the most prestigious art festivals around the world.”
His Highness said that this participation comes within the framework of implementing the Omani cultural strategy as part of ‘Oman Vision 2040’, which among its objectives lists focus on the Omani cultural scene and its cultural diversity, and to make it a front for creativity that reflects the civilised face of the Sultanate of Oman as an integrated cultural system that exports creativity.
His Highness thanked the Omani artists in general and the participants in this ‘biennale’ in particular, wishing them success and praising the efforts made by the work team at the Sultanate of Oman and the organising team from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth to make this participation a success.
