Muscat: The Grand Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman commented on the crime of burning copies of the Noble Qur’an that occurred in Sweden.

His Eminence Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalili, Grand Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman, said in a tweet through his personal account: "The enemies of Islam have revealed the hatred they harbor for this true religion and a challenge to those who believe in it by publicly burning the Qur’an while the police protect them. In this matter is a test for Muslims, otherwise the Qur’an will not be harmed, for if they burn its letters and the enemies will not be able to destroy its truth."
