Follow these ways to get rid of rodents

The pest control division of Muscat Municipality plays a major role in reducing pests and rodents in Muscat governorate, through periodic control programmes which target breeding grounds of pests and rodents. The division carries out constant surveys to identify the type and characteristics of pests and rodents, knowing their breeding places and behavior and eventually implements awareness campaigns to educate people about it.

The Municipality hence issues these guidelines to help citizens and residents to get rid of attractions that host pests and rodents; namely, daily disposal of household rubbish in a tightly sealed bag, making sure all doors and windows are closed well or to install a mesh to prevent entry of pests and rodents, and avoiding food remains disclosed at home. Municipality also urges people to do periodic testing of traps, in addition to store grain and feed in airtight metal containers, and to cut grass in the garden on an ongoing basis.
