Fire at Khasab port brought under control

Muscat: The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) has managed to extinguish a fire that broke out in a wooden ship at Khasab port.

"The firefighting and rescue teams in the Musandam Governorate responded to a report of a fire that broke out in a wooden ship in the port of the Wilayat of Khasab. The teams, in cooperation with the Governorate Police Command and the Royal Air Force of Oman, were able to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to ships anchored in the port, " CDAA said in a statement.
