Oman ministry announces design competition for engineering, architecture students

Muscat: The Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation has announced a competition for an innovative design of Bukha Beach Park in Musandam Governorate.

The ministry said in a statement: "The Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, in cooperation with the Office of the Minister of State and the Governorate of Musandam, and with the support of Okiyo, announces a competition for an innovative design of Bukha Beach Park in the Musandam Governorate for engineering and architecture design students in the Sultanate of Oman."

The project aims to attract tourism to the region and provide distinctive public facilities to the local community by improving the current site and creating job opportunities for productive families and job seekers by designing sales outlets on the site and promoting economic diversification for community development through the services provided by sales outlets designated for those wishing to invest.
