Muscat: HH Sayyida Basma Al Said, a true advocate of mental health in the Sultanate of Oman has made the country proud by being one of the judges for The Diana Awards 2022.
Al Said, who is a clinical counsellor and the founder of Not Alone Campaign for mental health as well as Whispers of Serenity Clinic, will be judging this year's Diana Awards which ends on Friday.
"Every year, The Diana Award Charity welcomes volunteer judges to assess nominations for the Diana Award. What they all have in common is their belief that young people deserve to be valued, celebrated and recognised for their outstanding contributions," the Clinic said.
Adding that: "Across the two weeks, The Diana Awards have spotlighted several of their judges who have all worked extremely hard to sort through all of the amazing applications the organization has received!
"Can't wait to see all the amazing young people that will have their work recognised by The Diana Award!"
This is the first time that the Diana Awards for innovation, humanity and mental health has been introduced in the Sultanate of Oman. HH Sayyida Basma Al Said, founder of Whispers of Serenity Clinic was the first and only Arab judge for The Diana Awards 2022.
