Oman bids farewell to renowned doctor and novelist

Muscat: Oman bids farewell to an eminent doctor and novelist Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Farsi, Senior Consultant and the Head of adult Oncology at the Royal Hospital, who passed away on Sunday night.

The Royal Hospital said in its condolences : "He was a doctor and a writer, and he left a smile and a good impact on the souls of his colleagues, patients and their families, with hearts filled with sadness and satisfaction. The Royal Hospital mourns the late Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Farsi Senior Consultant, and head of adult oncology at the Royal Hospital."

He worked as a Senior Specialist Physician in the Oncology Department at the National Cancer Centre in Muscat, and was a member of the International Union for Cancer Control.

His most prominent publications are "Earth Cries, Saturn Laughs" "The Bear Finally Wokes" "The Gray Box" "The Balcony Man" "Not Far From the Moon".
