One arrested for drug abuse in Oman

Muscat: A person has been arrested for drug abuse in Buriami, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) said on Thursday.

In an online statement, the ROP said, “The Directorate General for Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances has arrested an Omani for drug abuse in Buraimi.

It added, “Legal action has been taken against the accused.”

ROP has called upon everyone to provide information about drug abuse and traffickers on 1444 or the emergency hotline 9999.
