Kristine Opolais - European Union Youth Orchestra conducted by Vasily Petrenko

With her youthful voice and penetrating theatrical presence Latvian Soprano, Kristine Opolais is in demand on the world’s great stages. At ROHM, she will sing wonderful arias from Puccini, Dvořák, Rachmaninov and other great masters, accompanied by the European Union Youth Orchestra under the baton of Vasily Petrenko. Beckoning date palms of Samail
Samail, a small town around 70km from Muscat, has valleys and the Hajar mountain but one must not miss a visit to the date palm farms, which covers most of the areas.

April 20
Visit Sohar Fort
If you are in Sohar remember to visit Sohar Fort that is located on the beach. This all-white fort dates back to 18th century. The most important preserves here are seafaring equipments and weapons dating back to the medieval era. Visting time: 8am to 1.30pm and 4pm to 6pm from Saturday to Wednesday. 9 am to 1pm on Thursdays.
