Muscat: The Secretariat General of National Celebrations has invited people in the Sultanate of Oman to submit their design proposals for the 52nd National Day decorations.

"In the context of the preparations for the celebration of the 52nd National Day, we are pleased to announce the openings for design proposals for the decorations. The owners of the selected designs will be awarded financial rewards, " Secretariat General of National Celebrations said in a statement.

The path of decoration will be from  Al Alam Palace in the Wilayat of Muscat to  Al Baraka Palace in the Wilayat of Seeb. Decorations required are: on the path of Sultan Qaboos Street, trees, roadside and for Government buildings.

The  Secretariat General of National Celebrations has set conditions and specifications for the designs such as:  1. Decorations forms must express a clear connotation, whether from the Omani heritage or the plant and musical motifs.
2. A simplified explanation of the design meaning or the form of the decoration.
3. The participant must commit to the three colors of the Omani flag which are white, red and green.

In addition, the designs of the decoration forms should be simple and clear and be in harmony with the celebrations of the National Day and free from complexity for ease of manufacture. The winning designs will be owned by the Secretariat General.

 
 The design printed on A4 paper, shall be submitted to the building of the Secretariat General  within a maximum period of two weeks from the date of the announcement, and an electronic copy of the Ai or PSD and PDF programmes shall be attached with it.
