Drug smuggling operation busted in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has seized more than 5,700 tablets of psychotropic substances found from three smugglers.

"Musandam Governorate Police Command has arrested three people of Asian nationality after they entered the country illegally by sea. More than 5,700 tablets of psychotropic substances, in addition to a quantity of hashish and heroin were in their possession. The legal procedures are being completed against them, " ROP said in a statement.
