Muscat: An Omani innovator has invented a smart bracelet to measure muscle effort.
Oman News Agency (ONA), reported that The Omani innovator Khawla Bint Ali Al Aamri created a smart bracelet to measure muscle effort. “It is an alternative to the old medical devices used to measure muscle effort.”
The smart bracelet contains two types of sensors which are the piezo that works during the movement of the neck muscles and emits different vibrations while drinking, eating and speaking and EMG, which measures the nerve signals that sent to the muscles to give readings of muscle activity, time and effort.
