Muscat: As part of its efforts to combat the Aedes aegypti mosquito that causes dengue, more than 1,500 houses in Muscat Governorate have been sprayed with insecticides during the period from March 27 to March 30, 2022.
"1,690 houses were covered, including 1,231 houses in Ghubra area in the Wilayat of Bausher , 254 in Al Ansab area in the Wilayat of Baushar and 205 in Al Hail South area in the Wilayat of Seeb, " Muscat Municipality said in a statement.
The campaign has been launched by Muscat Municipality and the Ministry of Health to combat the Aedes aegypti mosquito, focusing on the areas of Ghubra, Al Ansab, Al Hail South. The programme went on from 6am till 11am.
