Oxy Oman representatives concluded their participation in the Oman Petroleum & Energy Show (OPES), where the company featured as a Platinum Sponsor. The three-day-event was held at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, and was inaugurated by His Highness Sayyid Taimur bin Asaad bin Tariq al Said, Chairman of the Central Bank of Oman Board of Governors. Stephen Kelly, President and General Manager of Oxy Oman attended the opening event along with other senior representatives of the company.
Oxy Oman representatives took part in the Exhibition section of OPES, as well as the Technical Conference that was organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), with the theme ‘Shaping the Future of the Energy Industry’.
In the technical conference, Oxy Oman representatives discussed the company’s global technological innovations, including its Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology, as well as its long term investments to achieve net zero emissions. Visitors to the Oxy Oman stand at the exhibition were briefed on the company’s technologies, achievements with In-Country Value and social responsibility initiatives, as well as its local and international operations.
